Help

  • To download a file either right-click (windows) or control-click (mac) on the “download” link at the bottom of the post.
  • For more information on Podcasting try this Wikipedia article

To subscribe to feeds you will need iTunes or another RSS feed reader like Juice. If you are using iTunes, it’s easy, just click on the iTunes Podcast Llink that you’d like to subscribe to. iTunes will open up for you on the correct section of the iTunes Music Store and you can click the “subscribe” button, it’s free.

To subscribe using another feed reader, like Juice, you will have to right-click (Windows) or control click (Mac) on the RSS logo RSS Logo next to the feed and select “Copy Link Location” or “Copy Shortcut” which will give you something like this “http://sermons.lincolnroadchapel.ca/feed/” that you need to paste into your feed reader. In Juice there is a button for add new feed, once clicked on you will need to paste the copied address into the URL box and click “Save.” In iTunes you can actually do the same in the “Advanced” menu by selecting “Subscribe to Podcast.”

You can use the technique above to become more creative in your subscriptions. If, for example, you entered in “category/gord-martin” before “feed” in the above address you would be subscribed only to sermons by Gord Martin. This works for any of the categories, here are some examples:

  • http://sermons.lincolnroadchapel.ca/category/gord-brock/feed/
  • http://sermons.lincolnroadchapel.ca/category/the-overwhelming-love-of-god/feed/
