Help Wanted

The people who currently update the sermons here at LRC need help to make this site better and there are a few related jobs that require help as well.

Some tasks are one time things, some are reoccurring, and some can even be done from home. If anything in this list strikes you as something you can do, please contact Jeremy… just ask at the sound booth on Sunday for his contact information.

  • Choose/Design a new design or theme for the site (calling anyone with WordPress blogging experience).
  • Join the team that edits and uploads sermons. Currently there are 2 people rotating, we’d love more. This involves about 20 minutes of work on the computer in the sound booth (anytime after the 11 am service on Sunday, can also be done on Monday). Some computer knowledge is an asset, but we have a program that takes care of most of the hard stuff.
  • Create audio CDs of Sermons for the library at LRC. This isn’t time sensitive, but does require going into the church. It is easy to learn and would be greatly appreciated. All you need to do is put a blank CD in the computer and select the sermon file. We’d like to start creating CDs of current sermons and work our way back through the archives.

Finally, the Audio-Visual team at Lincoln Road Chapel is always looking for volunteers of people to help do sound or operate the computer, talk to Harry Chin if you are interested in helping out.
