Col.2:1-5 What completes you? Motherhood can deplete women of their confidence at times. Complete confidence comes
with actively pursuing faith in Jesus Christ, for yourself, and for others.
God has allowed us to enter into His building and minister to each other and to our community since May 4th 2002. Jesus tells us
that he is the door to salvation (John 10:9), whether we come from Toronto or Waterloo or Beijing or Huhehaote. The doors at 145
Lincoln Road are a reminder that God welcomes us into His Family from all over the world to be one in Christ and to win others to
Christ.
When Jesus commissioned Peter to “feed my sheep” he extended the ancient mandate for Israel’s leaders into the life of the church. A Jesus-shaped community is an extension of the shepherding work of Jesus. We can all learn to exercise pastoral care within God’s flock.

The earth is the Lord’s – and everything in it. We’re going to discuss the creation mandate to care for the earth as stewards and the promise of the new creation of which the resurrected Jesus is the harbinger and first-fruits.
What happened Easter morning turned the world upside down. It was a cosmic breakthrough where Life burst in on death; Forgiveness burst in on guilt and shame. Jesus’ resurrection encounter with Mary in the Garden gives us a glimpse of this cosmic transformation – an ‘up-close-and-personal’ glimpse of the power and joy of Easter.
“Included!” Col.1:21-23 – What completes you? Included as enemies of God but now, through the death of Jesus, included completely as God’s Family. Palm Sunday backdrop.
“Supreme!” Col.1:15-20. What completes you? Jesus is greater than our highest thoughts about Him. He is supreme over all! How can anything else become a source of completeness beyond Jesus?
“Praying for People” Col.1:9-14. What completes you? And as you pray for others, do you pray for them to be complete in that way? Praying “big prayers” with others for others can make a difference in their lives and yours. It begins with knowing Who God is and who we are.
“Grateful” Col. 1:3-8. What completes you? The same thing that completes other believers. Being on a mission to find and celebrate completeness in Christ in others becomes an unforeseen source of gratitude to God.
